Arknights: Endfield Announces Release Date Alongside Music Video Trailer

The highly anticipated gacha-RPG, Arknights: Endfield, is set to launch on January 22, 2026, for PC, PlayStation 5, and mobile platforms. This announcement came during a music-video trailer showcased at The Game Awards 2025. Endfield, a spin-off of the original Arknights, introduces action-RPG gameplay within a semi-open world, blending in factory simulation elements reminiscent of Satisfactory, all while featuring a cast of anime characters for its gacha system.

The trailer not only revealed the game’s title but also premiered its theme song, “Give Me Something,” performed by the American band OneRepublic, who made an appearance alongside the game’s initial character lineup. Departing from the tower defense roots of the Arknights franchise, Endfield embraces more traditional action-RPG mechanics, setting itself apart from the wave of anime-style gacha RPGs that followed Genshin Impact’s rise. Additionally, it incorporates strategic management features, echoing the gameplay of titles like Factorio and Satisfactory.

Since its first global test in January 2024, Endfield has undergone several open-beta phases, with the latest in November bringing it closer to its final release. The game has already garnered a dedicated fanbase, consisting of both original Arknights enthusiasts and players from the various playtests, who are eagerly counting down to the full release on January 22.
