Score Free eShop Games This Holiday Season: Here’s Your Guide!

If you’re looking to score nearly a dozen free Switch games this holiday season, now’s the perfect time to jump in. Starting today, No Gravity Games is rolling out a giveaway where you can snag one free Switch title each day until December 19, with a special treat of three free games on the final day. Here’s the catch that actually works in your favor: to claim a free game, you need to have claimed the previous day’s title and kept it in your library. Additionally, you must own at least one No Gravity title before you can grab the first free game, but there’s a simple way to get that for free. Just head over to No Gravity Games’ official site and sign up for their newsletter to receive a free game. By doing this first, it counts as a “purchased” game from No Gravity, allowing you to claim the subsequent free titles. If you happen to miss a day, you can still get back in on the action by purchasing the previous day’s game, which will be offered at a significantly reduced price. Each game becomes available for free at midnight PT and can be claimed on Nintendo’s eShop until 11:59 PM PT on the same day. While most of the free games are still under wraps, the first one revealed is Bullets & Brains, a top-down arcade-style 3D shooter where players face off against an endless horde of zombies. Other titles like Wreckin’ Ball Adventure, Creepy Tale, Alder’s Blood, and Destropolis are teased in the Switchmas Giveaway trailer, but their inclusion in this year’s giveaway hasn’t been confirmed yet.
