In Saros, players take on the role of Arjun Devraj, a formidable Soltari Enforcer trapped on the perilous alien planet of Carcosat during a dark eclipse. While it shares its roguelite roots with Returnal, Saros places a stronger focus on aggressive gameplay, utilizing Devraj’s Soltari Shield to absorb enemy projectiles and convert that energy into powerful weaponry and gadgets. If Devraj falls in battle, players will have the opportunity to cheat death and jump back into the fray. As players progress, they can unlock new abilities and upgrades for Devraj’s combat suit to enhance their future runs.
For those curious about the gameplay style of Saros, Returnal is currently available for $30, showcasing stunning visuals on the PS5, a captivating narrative, and arcade-inspired bullet-hell mechanics that provide a satisfying challenge.
Several other exciting titles are also available for preorder. For fans of first-person action and quirky humor, High on Life 2 promises to be even stranger than its predecessor, as players confront alien pharmaceutical companies that exploit humans as the ultimate health supplement. It’s set to release on February 13, 2026, for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S, with a $60 physical edition for consoles. RPG enthusiasts can look forward to Tales of Berseria Remastered, launching for $40 on both PS5 and Switch 2 on February 27. Additionally, Switch 2 players can anticipate Pokemon Pokopia in March, an open-world adventure where they can create a utopia for wild pocket monsters.
