Secure Your Digimon Movie Blu-Ray Collection for $20 Before Its December 30 Release!

Digimon enthusiasts won’t have to wait much longer to enjoy the uncut versions of three classic early 2000s films in English for the first time. The Digimon The Movies 4-6 Collection is set to release on December 30. Preorders have seen a price drop for the second time on various platforms; the $30 Blu-ray collection is now available for just $20. This collection follows the well-received Digimon The Movies 1-3 Collection, which launched last December. The first collection is currently sold out everywhere, so if you’re eager to dive into the new collection at launch, preordering is a smart move.

Discotek Media has been steadily releasing classic Digimon anime on Blu-ray over the past few years. Both Digimon Adventure: Season 1 and Digimon Adventure 02: Season 2 are available on Blu-ray, featuring English dubs as well as the original Japanese versions with subtitles. Unlike the movie collections, these series have separate editions for English and Japanese. Currently, all four versions are in stock, although only the Japanese edition of Digimon Adventure 02 is discounted below the manufacturer’s suggested retail price.

– Digimon Adventure: Series 1 (English Dub) — $80
– Digimon Adventure 02: Series 2 (English Dub) — $80
– Digimon Adventure: Series 1 (Japanese Dub) — $70
– Digimon Adventure 02: Series 2 (Japanese Dub) — $49 (originally $70)

Shout Factory has also been responsible for the Blu-ray releases of the six Digimon Tri movies, which are available in a 6-Film Collection priced at $78. This price is on the higher side, so it might be worth waiting for a drop to around $50. However, the last two movies have more reasonable prices right now.

– Digimon Adventure: Last Evolution Kizuna (2020) is available for $18.
– Digimon Adventure 02: The Beginning (2023) is priced at $16.90.

For those looking for DVD options, many seasons of the Digimon TV series have yet to make their way to Blu-ray and can be hard to find on DVD as well. Some seasons, like Digimon Fusion and the first part of Digimon Tamers, can be found at reasonable prices from resellers. There’s also a DVD box set that includes Digimon Adventure, Digimon Adventure 02, Tamers, and Frontier, though it has received mixed reviews.

– Digimon Seasons 1-4 (DVD) — $67
– Digimon Tamers: Volume 1 (DVD) — $20
– Digimon Fusion: Season 1 (DVD) — $24
– Digimon: The Movie (DVD) — $29

Additionally, fans can snag a deal on the new RPG developed by Media Vision and published by Bandai Namco, Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth, which is currently on sale for $50 for PS5. This matches the game’s Black Friday price. PC and Steam Deck players can grab the standard edition as a Steam key from a reseller for $49 (originally $70), with 30% discounts available on the Deluxe and Ultimate Editions.
