Rainbow Six Mobile Finally Gets a Release Date Following Extensive Testing
Rainbow Six Mobile is set to launch on February 23, 2026, bringing the action-packed experience of the franchise to iOS and Android devices as a free-to-play first-person shooter. Initially announced in 2022, the game has undergone public testing since 2023 and is now gearing up for its global release. Designed specifically for mobile, Rainbow Six Mobile aims to capture the essence of Rainbow Six Siege, featuring three distinct 5v5 multiplayer modes: Bomb, Bomb Rush, and Team Deathmatch. Players can choose from over 20 operators and explore familiar maps from Rainbow Six Siege, such as Bank, Border, and Clubhouse. To ease newcomers into the game, an onboarding tutorial is included to cover the basics. Ubisoft has also committed to introducing new content with each season. Meanwhile, players in Poland, France, Canada, and Latin America can already dive into the action, as the game is currently available in those regions as part of a phased rollout. As for Rainbow Six Siege, it continues to maintain a loyal fanbase even after a decade, though recent reports indicate “softer trends” as the game navigates a changing landscape in the competitive FPS scene.
