Arc Raiders: Your Guide to Decoding the Data Quest

In the Deciphering the Data quest in Arc Raiders, your mission takes you to Spaceport to locate some Magnetic Decryptors, and pinpointing their exact locations can be tricky. But don’t worry, we’ve got you covered with the details on where to find both spots you need to interact with to finish this quest from Shani. While you won’t need to extract to complete Deciphering the Data, it’s a good idea to run a free kit just in case. You might encounter other raiders also working on the quest, and you wouldn’t want to lose your gear if a skirmish breaks out while you’re exploring. When you’re ready to dive into Deciphering the Data, follow these steps.

To kick off Deciphering the Data, head to the Fuel Control building, which is situated in the northeastern part of the Spaceport map. The interior is quite dark, so don’t hesitate to switch on your flashlight if necessary.

Inside the main (very dark) room, you’ll find numerous computer terminals. Look along the southeast wall for a different machine that you can interact with to use the Magnetic Decryptor. This will give you a new objective, directing you to the Arrival Building.

The Arrival Building is located on the northwestern side of the map, so you’ll need to traverse some open ground to get there efficiently. Watch out, as some raiders may try to pick off players making that run.

Once you reach the Arrival Building, head upstairs to the top level. Against the north by northwest wall, you’ll find another set of machines. They may look a bit different from the one you used at the Fuel Control building, but they’ll serve the same purpose.

With the quest complete, you can exit through any of the functioning elevators. Just be aware that extraction campers might be lurking, especially if you tackled this quest at night. Find a safe spot to wait it out and stay alert. And don’t forget to turn in the quest when you return to Speranza.
