Locate the building featured on the whiteboard in Arc Raiders’ Groundbreaking mission.

In Arc Raiders, the Groundbreaking quest presents a challenging task where you need to locate a building sketched on a whiteboard, with no additional hints to guide you. Just like in Armored Transports, you’ll need a Blue Gate Communication Tower Key to access the board, as it’s locked away in a secure room.

While there’s a spare key available along the way, it shares the same issue as Armored Transports—the one quest I still haven’t finished due to this. If you misplace the key, your chances of finding another are left to chance, which can be frustrating. Fortunately, the locked room at Pilgrim’s Peak sees a lot of traffic, so even if you don’t have the key, you might still manage to get in.

You won’t have a free loadout this time, so make sure to keep the key Apollo gives you in a secure spot until you need it. Here’s how to tackle Groundbreaking, including the location of the locked room and how to find the building depicted on the whiteboard.

Start by heading to the locked room at Pilgrim’s Peak, located in the northeast section of the Blue Gate map, just northeast of the Warehouse Complex. Remember to take the Blue Gate Communication Tower Key and keep it safe until you complete the objective in the room—this will help prevent you from losing it before you finish.

Fortunately, this room is often opened by other players for loot, and you can also find a spare key. Enter Pilgrim’s Peak through the main entrance to the south and head into the reception area. If you need the spare key, check under the desk to your right, where you’ll find some boxes with a yellow icon to interact with. Now, to access the locked room:

Be cautious if the door is unlocked and closed, as someone might be inside looting. Once you enter, your next objective will be to “search the room for any construction research.” Look for the whiteboard with the building plans drawn on it, which should be easy to spot in the small room. Interact with it to proceed to the next step.

As the quest title suggests, the building shown on the whiteboard is located in the Abandoned Housing Project to the south of Pilgrim’s Peak, specifically in the southernmost building of the trio. When you get close, you’ll receive a new objective to “Photograph the Abandoned Housing Project,” which you need to capture from the north side of the building.

You can find the exact spot marked on the map and in the screenshot, right by the rocks at the top of the slope before you head down to the house itself. Take the photo, and you’re all set. Report back to Apollo to claim your rewards, including a new variation for the Warden outfit.
