Arc Raiders Makes It Simpler to Acquire Its Most Valuable Resource
The latest update for Arc Raiders, titled Cold Snap, dropped yesterday, bringing a host of exciting changes and new features to the game. Players can now experience the Snowfall map condition, which introduces the risk of frostbite for your raider, alongside the new Flickering Flames event. Plus, there are significant balance adjustments, including the relocation of security lockers, making this a thrilling time for fans of Arc Raiders.
One noteworthy change that didn’t make it into the patch notes is the substantial increase in the drop rate for blueprints. Previously, these crafting recipes were notoriously elusive, with a total of 75 available, often leaving players searching for days without success.
Once you acquire a blueprint, you can craft the corresponding item or weapon at your workbench, as long as you have the necessary materials. The only way to lose access to a blueprint is by going on an expedition, which resets your character and progression almost completely.
Your chances of discovering blueprints are even higher in the tougher maps like Stella Montis and The Blue Gate, especially during conditions that yield better loot, such as Night and Snowfall. Just last night, while raiding Stella Montis during a Night run, I stumbled upon two blueprints in a single container. Unfortunately, true to form, Stella Montis claimed my life before I could make a successful extraction…
This means now is the perfect time to tackle the most challenging maps in Arc Raiders, as blueprints appear to be much more accessible. However, since this change wasn’t officially noted, it’s possible that it could be a temporary glitch and might be fixed in a hotfix soon.
While you’re diving into the new content, don’t forget to check out the details on ‘The Clean Dream’ quest, which was also introduced with this update.
