Fallout: New Vegas Meme Comes to Life with Fallout Season 2 Ads on Las Vegas Sphere: “They Made My Meme Real!”

Don’t let your memes be dreams! As Fallout Season 2 brings more of New Vegas to life, Amazon Prime Video has taken a playful jab at the gaming community by showcasing a hilarious meme featuring none other than Mr. House on the Las Vegas sphere.

If you’re in Sin City right now, you can catch a glimpse of Robert Edwin House, played by Justin Theroux, lighting up the massive display. This sharply dressed figure is part of a series of ads for the show, and it’s safe to say he steals the spotlight.

For those who spend a lot of time online, the humor is amplified since this is a literal interpretation of a meme that circulated over a year ago. Twitter user Tunnelsnakesfool created a mock-up of Mr. House’s iconic face spinning around for the residents of the gambling capital, and now it’s come to life.

Adding to the hilarity, there was a GoFundMe campaign aimed at making this happen, as renting space on those screens costs upwards of $500,000. That’s quite a hefty sum to raise for a meme, and the campaign didn’t succeed. But who has the cash to pull this off? Jeff Bezos and the vast resources of Amazon, of course.

Someone had the brilliant idea to utilize the most iconic attraction in Paradise, and now the internet-savvy Fallout fanbase is loving it. “They made my fucking meme real holy shit,” Tunnelsnakesfool exclaimed on Twitter. This surely opens the door for some creative opportunities for them on Fallout Season 3, right? Come on, Amazon, for the memes!

Todd Howard has confirmed that Fallout 5 will exist in the same universe as the Amazon Prime TV show.
