Kingpin Actor Hints at Promising Future for Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 with Teaser Image of Villain
Daredevil: Born Again season 2 may still be a few months away, but we’ve just received an early glimpse from Vincent D’Onofrio. The actor, who is stepping back into his role as Kingpin, shared a dark and intriguing image of his character on social media, along with his initial thoughts on the upcoming season.
“Just watched some episodes of the second season of DD Born Again. Looking real good!” he posted on Twitter, sparking excitement among fans for the release.
Responses were mixed, with one user saying “already seated,” while others expressed their eagerness with comments like “can’t wait to watch it” and requests for a trailer to drop soon. Some fans voiced concerns over recent rumors of potential delays, though nothing has been officially confirmed.
As we anticipate more updates on the release date and an official trailer for a sneak peek at the new episodes, there are already plenty of details to get excited about. Alongside Charlie Cox reprising his role as the titular hero, Krysten Ritter will return as Jessica Jones for the first time since 2019, teaming up with Daredevil once again. Fans are also speculating that Elodie Yung might reprise her role as Elektra, following a cryptic Instagram post from the actress.
Deborah Ann Woll, who plays Karen Page, and Wilson Bethel, known for his role as Bullseye, are also set to return, with Matthew Lillard joining the cast for the first time. Unfortunately, The Punisher won’t be part of Daredevil: Born Again season 2, as he will be featured in his own TV special.
While the official synopsis is still under wraps, the second season will continue from where we left off, with Daredevil and Kingpin clashing as the hero rallies New York against the villain’s oppressive rule. Director Aaron Moorhead described season 2 as a “resistance tale” against Mayor Fisk, promising an intense rebellion in the streets of Hell’s Kitchen.
Daredevil: Born Again season 2 is scheduled to premiere in March 2026, just ahead of Spider-Man 4 in July and Avengers: Doomsday in December.
