Locating Sentinels in Arc Raiders

In Arc Raiders, Sentinels are elusive foes; these sniper turrets are positioned on various buildings and can lock onto nearby players, dealing significant damage. While they are uncommon, defeating them yields Sentinel Firing Cores, essential for upgrading at the Gunsmith table. Below, I’ll outline where to locate Sentinels across different maps and share an alternative method for acquiring Firing Cores.

Sentinels spawn randomly in Arc Raiders, typically found outdoors in elevated spots with clear lines of sight to target players from a distance. They seem to appear more frequently during Night Raids, and I’ve spotted them at several key locations.

You’ll know a Sentinel is nearby when you see its laser sight sweeping the area. If it locks onto you, you’ll have a brief moment to find cover. To take down a Sentinel, use the environment to close the gap until you’re within shooting range. They don’t boast a lot of health compared to other rare enemies in Arc Raiders, so getting close makes it easier to eliminate them.

Sentinel Firing Cores are primarily obtained from Sentinels, with a typical drop rate of one core per turret. However, there’s also a small chance to find them from Arc Couriers—those white, saucer-shaped objects that you can breach, often indicated by smoke plumes. It’s definitely worth opening every courier you encounter, especially since you’ll find more crashed Couriers during Electromagnetic Storms in Arc Raiders.
