The Forge: Locating the Hidden Guitar

The Forge NPCs have a knack for misplacing items, so it’s no surprise that the Roblox RPG tasks you with tracking down the Bard’s lost guitar. Fortunately, this quest isn’t tangled up with a bunch of other side missions (unlike the one where you have to find Tomo’s lost cat), but the guitar can be a bit tricky to locate.

Since you’ll need to hit Level 10 to progress in the main storyline anyway, why not check out this quick guide on where to find the lost guitar in The Forge? You’ll snag some easy XP and a sweet musical reward.

To find the Bard’s lost guitar, head to the Stonewake’s Cross cave, where it’s tucked away in a secret room near the entrance. It’s not far from the Bard, so accept the quest and venture into The Cave.

Once inside, take a left down the hallway and stop at the patch of dirt. You’ll notice some moss on a nearby stone wall, but it’s not solid, allowing you to slip through. Run toward the wall until you drop through the moss and into the Secret Cave.

The guitar is located at the back of the room next to an NPC skeleton you can chat with, though he doesn’t have much to say. Grab the guitar and return it to the Bard to complete the quest.

1. Talk to the Bard by the campfire in Stonewake’s Cross.
2. Enter The Cave and stop at the first intersection near the NPCs.
3. Go left, passing Umut the Brave, and pause at the dirt patch.
4. Run into the moss-covered ground until you drop into the Secret Cave.
5. The lost guitar is at the back of the room, near the skeleton.

There are no additional requirements to finish the Bard’s quest, but retrieving the guitar also sets you up for acquiring the Arcane Pickaxe. If you’re having trouble delving deeper into The Cave for the upgrade, consider redeeming some Forge codes or checking out some tips for extra assistance.

When the Bard finally gets his guitar back, he stops his endless sulking by the campfire and plays a lively tune—that’s a solid reason to help him out! Plus, you’ll receive a nice XP boost along with the Unknown Key.

If you’re still at a low level and equipped with beginner gear, you might not be able to use the skull key just yet, so hang onto it. It unlocks another secret passage deep within The Cave, where you can later obtain the Arcane Pickaxe. I was well into my adventures in the Forgotten Kingdom before I returned to use the Unknown Key—I needed that upgrade for the Forge Goblin King quests—so don’t stress if you can’t rush to continue your journey.
