My Hero Academia to Unveil Special Anime Episode at Jump Festa

Fans of My Hero Academia barely had a moment to catch their breath after the emotional conclusion of the anime earlier this month. At Jump Festa 2026, the major annual manga and anime convention, a brand new special episode titled “More” was announced. Since the series finale didn’t fully adapt Kōhei Horikoshi’s 42nd manga volume, this extra episode will cover a bonus chapter set eight years after Deku and his friends graduate from U.A. High School. “More” is set to stream on May 2, 2026.

My Hero Academia kicked off the Jump Super Stage on December 20, with part of the event dedicated to celebrating the series’ decade-long legacy, which began in 2014 with the first chapter of Horikoshi’s manga in Weekly Shonen Jump. The anime followed in 2015, quickly amassing a global fanbase.

The presenters also shared a heartfelt promotional video for the final season, titled “The Story of How We All Became the Greatest Heroes.”

In addition to the “More” episode and the final season tribute, a worldwide concert tour was announced as part of My Hero Academia’s 10th anniversary celebration, set to begin in 2026. The Jump Festa panel also revealed a new teaser visual and logo for the anniversary, with more related news and events expected as the new year unfolds.

This Christmas, fans of My Hero Academia received an unexpected gift. Just when they thought they had to bid farewell to Deku and the other (now former) students of Class 1A, they get another chance to see their beloved heroes in action.
