Get ready for a longer teaser for Avengers: Doomsday, plus an upcoming ‘terrifying’ Doctor Doom trailer!
The upcoming teaser for Avengers: Doomsday is set to be even more extensive, promising “scary moments” that could give younger viewers a fright.
According to the Finnish National Audiovisual Institute, the second trailer for Avengers: Doomsday will clock in at 99 seconds, a slight increase from last week’s 82-second teaser focused on Steve Rogers.
If the latest buzz around the Avengers: Doomsday trailers holds true, this next teaser, which will debut alongside screenings of Avatar: Fire and Ash, will center on Thor.
Meanwhile, the third trailer is rumored to spotlight Robert Downey Jr.’s Doctor Doom, which likely explains the mention of ‘scary moments’ that could unsettle younger audiences.
With less than a year until the release of Avengers: Doomsday, the promotional campaign is ramping up significantly. Directors Anthony and Joe Russo have initiated a countdown with a Doomsday Clock, and the Steve Rogers teaser is currently being shown in theaters as part of a staggered rollout of four trailers over the coming month.
Scheduled for release on December 18, 2026, Avengers: Doomsday marks the beginning of the Multiverse Saga’s grand finale. This crossover will feature characters from various universes, including legacy actors from the X-Men, the Fantastic Four, and both new and familiar faces from the MCU. This was all unveiled during a livestream event back in March.
Next on the MCU slate is Spider-Man: Brand New Day, swinging into theaters on July 31, 2026. Similar to the first Avengers: Doomsday trailer, this one has also been the subject of leaks.
