Dedicated speedrunner conquers every 3D Zelda game in under 90 hours straight, fueled by the excitement of Tears of the Kingdom’s release.
In a stunning display of skill, a speedrunner has achieved the incredible feat of completing every single 3D Zelda game in one continuous session, clocking in at under 90 hours.
Twitch streamer Nukie recently tackled all seven 3D Zelda titles, starting with Ocarina of Time and Majora’s Mask, then jumping to Tears of the Kingdom, Skyward Sword, Wind Waker, Twilight Princess, and wrapping up with Breath of the Wild. She accomplished this marathon in just 88 hours and 54 minutes, all without a single moment of sleep, and the entire run is available for viewing on her channel. It’s mind-blowing to consider that in the 39 years since The Legend of Zelda debuted, 3D entries have been part of the franchise for 27 of those years. While 2D games may outnumber their 3D counterparts, many younger fans associate the series primarily with its 3D titles, likely due to the unique feel and style each one brings. Mastering all of them seems like a daunting task—at least, that’s what you might think.
Nukie took to Twitter to celebrate her achievement, declaring, “The first human on this planet to complete every 3D Zelda game (OoT -> TotK), 100%, in one sitting without sleeping. 6 years of practice pouring all into one 4-day speedrun that I will cherish forever,” and added, “No one can stop me, I am on top of the world. I am that bitch.”
Such an extraordinary accomplishment seems unlikely to be replicated anytime soon… or so you might think.
Interestingly, Nukie had previously completed a similar challenge over two years ago, before the release of Tears of the Kingdom, finishing all six games in just 56 hours. While this achievement is undeniably impressive, it’s worth noting that going 90 hours without sleep is not advisable for anyone. Kudos to Nukie for her remarkable run!
