Netflix’s Originals: Titles That Could Disappear in 2026

While Netflix Originals are exclusive content created or licensed by the streaming service, they don’t always stick around forever. A detailed list has surfaced, highlighting 100 Netflix Originals—both movies and series—that are scheduled to be removed from the platform throughout 2026.

Among the titles set to vanish are several animated series, including the first three seasons of The Epic Tales of Captain Underpants, which will be gone by January 9th, and the first five seasons of She-Ra and the Princesses of Power, leaving on February 21st. Additionally, various DreamWorks shows tied to the How to Train Your Dragon franchise will be removed on November 24th. Comedy fans should note that Demetri Martin: Demetri Deconstructed will no longer be available after April 2nd, and the Dutch thriller The Resistance Banker will exit the platform following March 11th.

The list also mentions that all five seasons of Arrested Development are set to be removed on March 15th, 2026. However, this serves as a reminder that not all Originals may leave as planned. Arrested Development, including its final two seasons produced by Netflix, was initially slated to depart in March 2023, but a deal with 20th Century Studios allowed it to remain, as reported. There’s a possibility that other series could follow a similar path or migrate to different streaming services. For instance, the Originals series Caliphate, which left Netflix in September 2025, is now available for streaming on Amazon Prime.
