95-Year-Old Grandma with Vision Impairment Outshines Your Battlefield Squad with Impressive Aim

It’s never too late to pick up a new skill and become so good at it that you can outshine thousands of others. Take, for instance, a remarkable 95-year-old grandmother who has never touched an FPS game but might just have better aim than me, a 28-year-old veteran of the genre.

Recently, a professional FPS player shared a video showcasing his grandmother, Anne Krohley, demonstrating her impressive shooting skills. In the clip, Krohley tackles a challenge in Aimlabs, a free training program designed for FPS enthusiasts, specifically the Spidershot trial that focuses on speed.

At 95 years old, and legally blind, Krohley managed to rank above 24,000 other players in Spidershot. Despite her macular degeneration affecting her central vision, she uses oversized crosshairs in Aimlabs to help line up targets using her peripheral vision.

Honestly, she could have fooled anyone watching. Aside from a few disappearing targets, she hits nearly every shot. By the end of the minute-and-a-half video, it’s clear she improved her previous high score by 27 percent, or about 2,700 points, placing her above a staggering number of players.

Her achievement has sparked a wave of positivity online, with many celebrating her incredible feat. The official Aimlabs account called her accomplishment “amazing,” while others have dubbed her “the goat.” The replies are filled with supportive comments, showcasing a rare moment of kindness on social media.

In response to the outpouring of admiration, her grandson has been sharing links to an exercise video she created for seniors and a children’s book she authored titled “The Tale of the Cat and the Ballet Mouse.”

I don’t know about you, but I’ve become a huge fan of Anne Krohley in just an hour and would love for her to carry me as I dive back into competitive FPS gaming.
