A24’s upcoming documentary set to be the most unusual film of 2026 reveals its first trailer.

Nathan Fielder has carved out a unique niche in entertainment with his outlandish stunts that blur the lines between reality and fiction. His breakout series, Nathan for You, cleverly spoofed shows like Shark Tank, featuring Fielder as an exaggerated, socially awkward version of himself who offered hilariously bad business advice. More recently, his HBO series The Rehearsal took things to new heights, culminating in a jaw-dropping moment where Fielder appeared to pilot a commercial flight filled with passengers. Now, it seems his upcoming film, You Can See Everything, is poised to push the envelope even further.

You Can See Everything is a documentary co-directed by Nathan Fielder and Lance Oppenheim, focusing on Elizabeth Holmes, the controversial founder of the now-defunct health tech company Theranos. The film was produced by A24 and filmed just before Holmes began her 11-year prison sentence for defrauding investors. Clocking in at a substantial 174 minutes, it promises to be a deep dive into its subject matter.

The trailer showcases Fielder’s signature style, exploring the thin line between performance and reality. His trademark dry humor shines through as he bluntly suggests to Holmes’ partner that he may have been duped out of his fortune. Co-director Lance Oppenheim brings his own expertise to the project, having recently released his first feature-length drama, the highly anticipated Primetime. Fielder has previously collaborated with A24, starring in the dark comedy series The Curse.

You Can See Everything premiered at the 53rd Telluride Film Festival on September 6, receiving rave reviews. It currently holds a perfect score on Rotten Tomatoes from 10 reviews and an impressive 95 on Metacritic from 7 reviews. Critics have praised it, with one describing it as “like no other film I’ve ever experienced,” while another noted its unique blend of reality TV and psychodrama, driven by Fielder’s inquisitive nature.

Fans won’t have to wait long to see it for themselves, as You Can See Everything is set to hit theaters in the United States on October 16.
