Acer’s Swift Go 16 Delivers Impressive Performance for $900

With rising prices for memory and storage impacting everything from consoles to PCs, snagging a solid laptop for under $1,000 has become quite the quest. Fortunately, the Acer Swift Go 16 AI is currently available for $899.99, a significant drop from its regular price of $1,549.99. This well-equipped machine features an Intel Core Ultra 7 355 processor, 32GB of LPDDR5X RAM, and a spacious 1TB SSD. Plus, it boasts a stunning 16-inch OLED touchscreen with a resolution of 1,920 x 1,200. The taller 16:10 aspect ratio enhances your viewing experience, and the 180-degree hinge allows you to adjust to your ideal angle.

The touchpad is generously sized and features a durable Corning Gorilla Glass surface, while the backlit keyboard even includes a numpad. While the integrated Intel graphics may not be ideal for hardcore gaming, they should handle lighter titles like Balatro with ease. Additionally, the battery life is impressive, lasting over 20 hours on a single charge, depending on your brightness settings. Connectivity is robust for a slim laptop, offering two USB-A 3.2 ports, two USB-C ports with Thunderbolt 4 support, HDMI 2.1, a microSD card slot, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
