AirPods Max 2 Hit Second-Lowest Price Yet

There are plenty of deals to dive into this week with the ongoing “Black Friday in July” sale. This event usually coincides with Prime Day, but since Amazon’s shopping extravaganza happened earlier than expected, it’s great to see some discounts in July.

One standout deal is the Apple AirPods Max 2, now priced at $449 at various retailers, marking a $100 drop from their regular price. This is only the second time they’ve seen a discount, with Prime Day bringing them down to $399.99. If you missed that deal, today’s price is still a solid option, and they’re available in all colors.

Our review described the Max 2 as a “great sequel, but not an ambitious one.” In essence, the design remains largely unchanged, but there are some internal upgrades that might appeal to those with the original model, especially if you have the Lightning connector version. The Max 2 features USB-C connectivity like the 2024 revision and includes a built-in amp for exceptional sound quality, along with the H2 wireless chip that supports live translation, adaptive audio, and conversation awareness.

Here are some other notable deals worth checking out:

* The Logitech G Pro X2 Superstrike wireless gaming mouse is an intriguing accessory for PC gamers. Instead of traditional physical switches, it uses haptic motors to replicate the click sensation, reducing latency and allowing for customization of the click feedback. If that piques your interest, consider grabbing it at its first-ever discount, now priced at $125.99 down from $179.99.

* There are also some appealing Apple deals, including a four-pack of second-gen AirTags, which has dropped from $99.99 to $89.99. Costco members can snag an even better deal with five second-gen AirTags for $99.99. The latest AirTags feature a louder alarm and extended range, making it easier to locate lost items compared to the first-gen version.

* Kodak’s Charmera may not be the best camera out there, but it certainly has charm. It’s a fun, flash-ready digital camera that attaches to your keychain. Each Charmera comes in a blind box, so the design is a surprise. If that sounds exciting, you can pick one up at Best Buy for $33.49, down from $49.99.
