Alien: Isolation 2 Promises Chilling Horror and Will Launch on PC, PS5, Xbox, and Switch 2
Today, during Summer Game Fest, developers Creative Assembly and Sega unveiled our first glimpse of Alien: Isolation 2, confirming that this highly anticipated horror sequel is on its way to deliver some spine-chilling moments in the future.
While no specific release date was provided, the developers expressed their enthusiasm about showcasing the chaos that ensues when a Xenomorph terrorizes an isolated colony on a distant planet.
In 2024, to mark the 10-year anniversary of the original Alien: Isolation, Creative Assembly announced that they had begun work on this long-awaited sequel. After that, the studio went quiet, which is understandable given the development process. However, earlier this year, a brief teaser for Alien: Isolation 2 was released, reassuring fans that the project was alive and hinting that more news would be coming soon. And now, here we are.
The original Alien: Isolation, launched in 2014, was a standout horror experience that had players stealthily navigating a space station while evading deadly androids, mercenaries, and, of course, a relentless Xenomorph that was always on the hunt. I loved the original game, even if it nearly caused me to toss my controller in fear one night. I can’t wait to dive into Alien: Isolation 2 when it finally drops on PS5, Xbox, Switch 2, and PC. This time, I’ll be sure to grip my controller a little tighter.
