All the Updates in The Witcher 3: Remastered Edition
Tomorrow, September 29, CD Projekt Red is set to launch The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – Remastered. This fresh iteration of the studio’s acclaimed 2015 RPG brings a host of quality-of-life enhancements to the beloved title. While the upgraded graphics have garnered significant attention, they are just one aspect of the many improvements in this remastered version. The full patch notes have been released, and they are quite extensive.
Players who already own the original Witcher 3 will be able to upgrade to the Remastered edition at no additional cost. This upgrade will also grant free access to the Hearts of Stone and Blood and Wine expansions, and it sets the stage for the upcoming Songs of the Past expansion, slated for release next year.
The patch notes are organized into several sections, covering visuals, gameplay, photo mode, and console-specific fixes. Among the standout changes is the aforementioned visual overhaul. The skill system has been revamped, and combat mechanics have received a general update. Additionally, players can now equip any gear they desire while still benefiting from the stats of other sets, which will be particularly enjoyable with the enhanced photo mode. These are just a few highlights; the full list of changes is worth checking out.
The Witcher 3 remains an unfinished masterpiece, even with its revamped edition.
