Amflow Unveils Next-Gen E-Bikes Powered by Avinox Motors
Amflow, the e-bike brand that emerged from DJI, has launched two exciting electric mountain bike lines featuring their powerful Avinox motors. These e-MTBs are designed to eliminate the usual compromises between power, range, and weight.
If Amflow’s offerings aren’t quite what you’re looking for, you’re in luck—over 60 other e-bike manufacturers have integrated Avinox drive systems, including well-known names like Canyon, Mondraker, and Pivot. This variety puts competitors like Bosch on alert.
The standout models, the Amflow PX (weighing about 20kg / 44lbs) and the Amflow PR (around 22kg / 49lbs), utilize Avinox’s latest M2S and M2 drive systems, providing up to 1,500W of peak power and 150Nm of torque. This level of power can easily damage chains and gears if not handled with care.
Both models feature carbon fiber frames that offer an impressive 40 different geometric configurations, allowing riders to customize their setup to match their riding style and the terrain. The Amflow PR comes with an 800Wh removable battery, perfect for long rides, and can recharge from 0 to 80 percent in about 1.5 hours. Additionally, a 600Wh battery can be mounted on the frame for a dual-battery configuration.
On the tech side, riders benefit from onboard turn-by-turn navigation displayed on a 2-inch OLED touchscreen, along with Apple Find My integration available on the PR models. A standout feature is the heart rate control system: riders can connect a heart rate monitor, and the bike’s motor will automatically adjust the pedal assist to maintain a target heart rate zone.
The premium Amflow PX Carbon is currently available in Europe and Australia, priced at $7,999 for the base model and $10,199 for the Pro version. The Amflow PR Carbon is set to launch later this year, starting at $4,999.
