Apple AirTags Hit Lowest Price Again
We found an awesome deal on Tile trackers earlier this week, but if you’re rocking an iPhone, we highly recommend checking out Apple’s latest AirTag. Right now, you can grab a four-pack for $89, which is $10 off and matches its lowest price ever. Plus, if you’re a member, Costco is offering a deal that includes a fifth AirTag for free.
These days, more Bluetooth trackers are tapping into Apple’s Find My network, but none offer the advanced features of Apple’s ultra wideband (UWB) chip, which enhances Precision Finding. This feature uses on-screen arrows and distance indicators in the Find My app to help you locate misplaced items. The second-generation AirTag’s upgraded chip and extended Bluetooth range make it quicker and more reliable for finding tags, even in larger homes. You can also utilize Precision Finding on an Apple Watch, as long as you have a Series 9 or later. If you need to track down an AirTag by sound, the built-in speaker is noticeably louder than before.
Like its predecessor, the second-generation AirTag includes several handy features for summer travel. AirTag sharing allows up to five people to keep tabs on the same item, and Apple’s Share Item Location feature lets you temporarily share an AirTag’s location with participating airlines, including United, Delta, and American Airlines. While it’s unfortunate that Apple didn’t include a built-in lanyard hole (you’ll need to buy a separate loop or holder), the tracker still uses a replaceable CR2032 battery, so you won’t have to replace the whole device when the battery runs out. And at $89 for a four-pack, it’s a budget-friendly option right now.
