Apple hints at upcoming MacBook Pro event next week.

Apple has announced a second product launch event for this month, set to take place on October 28th at 1 PM ET in Los Angeles.

During this event, the company is expected to unveil new Macs and an updated iPad Mini. A highlight of the announcements is anticipated to be a new MacBook Pro featuring an OLED touchscreen, which will be lighter and incorporate an iPhone-like Dynamic Island. Additionally, Apple plans to introduce a 14-inch MacBook Pro and a new iMac powered by the recently unveiled M6 chip, which debuted with the Mac Mini. The refreshed iPad Mini is also rumored to finally include an OLED display and will position the selfie camera on the landscape edge.

“Can’t wait to pro and tell next week,” teased Apple’s SVP of Marketing, Greg Joswiak, on social media.

This upcoming launch follows Apple’s earlier “Welcome home” event on October 13th, which showcased a range of smart home products, including the new HomeView smart home hub, an updated Apple TV 4K with Siri Remote, and a second-generation HomePod Mini.
