Arc Raiders: A Guide to the Lost in Transmission Quest
Arc Raiders will occasionally send you on missions that require you to access locked areas. One such mission, Lost in Transmission, tasks you with heading to Spaceport’s Control Tower A6, where you’ll need to connect to a terminal. Here’s a step-by-step guide to help you navigate this brief but potentially perilous quest.
First off, you need the Spaceport Control Tower Key to enter the raid. You’ll receive this key when you accept the quest, and without it, you won’t be able to unlock the door to the terminal. Make sure to stash the key safely to avoid losing it during any skirmishes. If you forget it or misplace it, there’s a chance another player might have already opened the door, but if not, you’ll need to find a new key, which can spawn randomly as loot on any map.
Now, about those skirmishes: the locked room in Control Tower A6 often holds valuable loot, making it a hotspot for other raiders. If you’re fortunate, your visit might be uneventful, but be ready for a fight just in case.
When you’re set to take on Lost in Transmission, here’s what to do:
**Visit Control Tower A6**
Control Tower A6 is situated in the lower center of Spaceport and is easily recognizable due to its height. You can approach from any direction, but entering from the front is recommended for a straightforward entry.
Once inside, your goal is to reach the top of Control Tower A6.
**Reach the top of Control Tower A6**
Inside the lower section of Control Tower A6, you’ll find two locked doors. One is in the main room at the front, and the other is in a space filled with red lockers and desks. Both doors lead to the same zipline that takes you to the top, but make sure neither door has been opened before using your Spaceport Control Tower Key. If one is already unlocked, it likely means another raider has taken the zipline to loot the area you need. You can choose how to handle this—wait for them to leave, politely ask to join them, or take the zipline up and confront them for their loot.
Once you reach the top of Control Tower A6, your objective will update, and you’ll need to connect to a terminal.
**Establish a connection from the terminal**
At the top, look to the left side of the room for the terminal. Interact with it to establish a connection, which will complete the Lost in Transmission quest.
While you’re up there, take the opportunity to loot everything in the room. This area is one of the best for finding valuable items, so don’t let the loot go to waste. After you’re done, simply take the zipline back down and head to your chosen extraction point to return to Speranza.
