Arc Raiders: Essential Quest Guide for Success

If you’re diving into the Paving the Way quest in Arc Raiders, you’re probably on the hunt for an ENELICA building or some research notes. You’re in the right spot, as we’ve laid out each step of the quest for you. Just a heads up, this quest will take you across two different maps, so be prepared for a bit of a journey. Make sure to extract from each map once you’ve completed the necessary tasks, but don’t worry—dying won’t reset your progress. It’s wise to leave your best gear behind, as you might encounter other players on their quests, and you wouldn’t want to risk losing anything valuable. When you’re set to tackle Paving the Way, follow these steps.

**Go to any ENELICA building**
While there are several ENELICA buildings scattered throughout the game, the easiest one to access is the Water Treatment Center located in the Dam Battlegrounds map. It’s conveniently close to an extraction point, making it a quick stop before heading back to Speranza. Plus, if you’re also working on the A Toxic Trail quest, this location is a two-for-one deal.

**Approach the Water Treatment Center from the south.**
Once you arrive at the Water Treatment Center, you’ll need to complete one more task before you can extract.

**Search for a notice board with a note from the researcher.**
As you approach the main entrance from the south, you’ll find a notice board right outside the door. Interact with it to grab the note from the researcher.

Now you can extract at the Water Treatment Elevator right behind you, but your next stop is Buried City.

**On Buried City, reach the top floor above the Convinio at Piazza Roma.**
Next, head over to the Buried City map. You’ll want to make your way to the dual apartment buildings located at the Piazza Roma point of interest, which is roughly in the center of the map.

**Head to this apartment.**
When you get to the apartments, there are several entrances, but for this guide, we suggest using the front entrance of the southern building, which is situated just above the metro entrance.

**Once inside, head all the way upstairs for the final part of this quest.**
Make your way to the top of the stairs and wrap around to the back room of the apartment, where you’ll find a large set of monitors against the wall. Here, you can interact with a prompt to collect the research data you need.

After you’ve gathered the data, you’re free to extract at the metro located directly below the apartment complex. Just be cautious down there, as some hostile raiders like to lurk and ambush players trying to leave. So, keep an eye on your surroundings, call in the train, and enjoy your ride back to Speranza.
