Oh no. Arc Raiders just received a hotfix yesterday to address a notorious dupe glitch that had gone viral and was wreaking havoc in the game, and now another exploit is making waves, allowing players to enjoy virtually infinite ammo, massive magazine sizes, and unbreakable weapons.

These two glitches gained significant attention overnight, especially the ammo exploit, which was showcased by a popular creator who demonstrated its overwhelming power. This trend seems to be continuing, as it was the same streamer whose previous coverage made the dupe glitch a hot topic.

Both glitches operate similarly, with players rapidly swapping their weapons in their inventory before dropping and picking them back up, tricking the game into mixing up certain attributes—like transferring a weapon’s max durability to another that’s been heavily used, effectively repairing it for free.

The ammo glitch not only increases the amount of ammo but also modifies the magazine size, allowing players to fire continuously without reloading, even with weapons like the Hullcracker or the Ferro, which typically have magazine limits of five and one, respectively.

It’s clear that these limited magazine sizes exist for a reason—game balance. That balance is now completely disrupted as players blast through the game without the usual constraints.

“A Ferro/Anvil being able to shoot 100+ bullets for free without reloading or a Hullcracker with infinite ammo is a reality right now,” one player expressed on Reddit. “Why am I spending all my resources on expensive launcher ammo and risking my premium gear to earn 100k on trials when others can do it effortlessly with no risk?”

“The duping glitch pales in comparison to this infinite ammo glitch,” another player noted. “Having a Ferro or Anvil with 100 rounds is just insane and way too powerful.”

Another player commented: “It’s a perfect time to take a break from the game until Embark can sort this out. Until they start penalizing cheaters, nothing will change. Just imagine what the game will look like in a week at this rate.”

Players have been inundating the official Arc Raiders Discord with requests for Embark to address these issues, and fortunately, it seems the developers are aware. In response to a fan asking about the “bug where the Ferro has 31 bullets and can shoot without reloading,” the community lead confirmed, “The team is aware of this one.”

Hopefully, it won’t be long before another hotfix is deployed. Just a heads up: if you were considering trying out these exploits, Embark has warned that “players who have duplicated excessive amounts of items will be subject to further review and possible penalties,” so there could be repercussions for this one as well.
