Arc Raiders Players Struggle in Combat Due to Frustrating Weapon Glitch: “I Thought I Was Losing It”

In Arc Raiders, having your weapons ready is crucial, especially with the looming threats of massive robots and rival players eager to snatch your resources. Unfortunately, a frustrating glitch is affecting some players, preventing them from drawing their weapons, and it seems to be spreading.

A clip featuring Richard Tyler ‘Ninja’ Blevins highlights the issue as he jumps into a heated battle, only to find himself unable to pull out his gun. He gets taken down while trying to explain the situation to his teammates over voice chat, completely defenseless.

This moment of frustration was also shared by esports reporter Jake Lucky, who noted that streamer Nadeshot faced the same glitch. Many others chimed in, revealing they had experienced similar issues, with some initially thinking they were alone in their misfortune.

“Yeah, sadly it happens quite a lot. Nothing worse than trying to engage and just… standing there helpless. Hope they patch it soon,” one player commented. Another added, “Yuppp, was happening to me too yesterday, thought I was losing it for real.”

A third player mentioned, “This happened to me. I could pull out my main gun and raider tool, but not my second gun.” While no additional clips have surfaced yet, it’s likely that more will appear as players recognize the glitch and it becomes more prevalent. Embark Studios has yet to respond, but if this issue continues to affect a significant number of players, a fix is likely on the way.
