Assassin’s Creed Characters Join Raid: Shadow Legends—Check Out the Launch Trailer!
Plarium, the studio behind the free-to-play mobile and PC game Raid: Shadow Legends, has just unveiled an exciting crossover with the iconic Assassin’s Creed franchise. Starting today and running until April 8, players can dive into this collaboration, which adds a fresh layer to the turn-based dark fantasy experience. This isn’t the first time Raid has teamed up with major franchises; previous collaborations have included Monster Hunter, Alien, and TMNT.
In this crossover, players will gain access to a new dungeon that allows them to unlock some of the most celebrated characters from Assassin’s Creed, such as Ezio Auditore, Edward Kenway, Kassandra, Bayek, and Basim Ibn Ishaq. Ronen Gross, VP of business development at Plarium, shared that the team collaborated closely with Ubisoft to ensure that the assassins are represented authentically, showcasing their unique abilities, signature weapons, and animations. He noted that the rich world-building of Assassin’s Creed made the crossover feel like a natural fit for Raid.
Here’s how players can unlock the Assassin’s Creed heroes:
– **Ezio**: Obtainable for free through the Loyalty Program on the 7th day of logging into RAID, with additional rewards available over 14 days, including an Ezio avatar and in-game resources.
– **Kassandra**: Accessible via a Fusion Event for all players from January 8 to January 24, and then through Shards until April 8. Players will need to complete specific in-game events and tournaments to gather the required resources.
– **Edward Kenway, Bayek, and Basim**: These characters can be unlocked through Shards and limited-time events during the crossover.
While the crossover is time-limited, any players who manage to unlock these new characters will retain them for future gameplay. Raid is available for free on mobile devices through the App Store, Google Play, and Aptoide, as well as on PC via the Microsoft Store, Epic Store, Steam, or Plarium Play.
As for the Assassin’s Creed series, there are several new titles in development, including the free mobile game Assassin’s Creed Jade, a cat simulator titled Assassin’s Creed Codename Hexe, a multiplayer game reminiscent of Fall Guys, and a new title designed for Netflix. The latest installment in the series is set to be Assassin’s Creed Shadows, scheduled for release in 2025.
