Aurzen’s compact trifold projector is currently available at nearly 40% off.

Not all trifolds are made equal—just ask anyone who’s had a rough experience with a less-than-stellar device. However, Aurzen’s Zip projector is a standout trifold gadget that we can wholeheartedly endorse, and it’s currently available on Amazon for $259.99, a sweet $140 discount. You can also grab it in various colors directly from Aurzen for the same price, or opt for the gold version, which is now at a new low of $249.99.

While it may not pack the same punch as Anker’s Nebula P1 and other portable projectors we’ve tested recently, the Zip impresses with its compact design and battery-powered convenience. This snake-like 720p projector delivers up to 100 lumens of brightness, making it ideal for dark settings or smaller images in brighter rooms. Its built-in battery lasts around 80 minutes in real-world use—not exactly a marathon, but you can easily recharge it with a power bank or wall adapter.

On the connectivity front, the Zip quickly pairs with iPhones via AirPlay and Android devices through Miracast, Smart View, and similar protocols, allowing you to wirelessly mirror whatever’s on your phone. Whether you want to binge-watch downloaded movies, scroll through social media, or squeeze in a quick gaming session, it’s got you covered. Plus, it supports both landscape and portrait orientations and features Bluetooth, so you can enjoy private listening with headphones or connect to your favorite speaker.

The main drawback of the Zip is that it can’t stream content from services like Netflix, Hulu, and HBO Max due to copyright restrictions. However, Aurzen offers a USB-C dongle that enables streaming of DRM-protected content, though it comes at a steep price of $109. If you can’t live without catching the latest episode of your favorite show, that’s the route to take.
