Baldur’s Gate 3 Developer Stream Banned on YouTube and TikTok for Inappropriate Content

The sex demon strikes again.

Recently, a player of Baldur’s Gate 3 faced the consequences of their overzealous romantic pursuits, losing their Honour Mode run after getting too intimate with Harleep, the incubus companion in the House of Hope. This incident caught attention during a recent livestream from Larian Studios, where senior communications developer Aoife Wilson also got a bit too close for comfort with Harleep, resulting in a ban from both YouTube and TikTok.

Wilson has been streaming a heavily modded Dark Urge run of Baldur’s Gate 3. During her time in the House of Hope, she managed to seduce Harleep, leading to a steamy scene that had someone frantically trying to shield the characters’ explicit moments with a golden D20.

It seems that engaging with a sex demon was a step too far for YouTube, a platform notorious for its inconsistent handling of explicit content. Following the ban on YouTube, Larian’s stream was also removed from TikTok, which faces similar challenges regarding adult content.

“True to form, we have just been banned on several platforms that we’re currently streaming to,” Wilson remarked. “Where are we even left now? Twitch. Fingers crossed.” You can catch the full stream on X, the social media platform where, for better or worse, anything goes. “Too hot for TikTok and YouTube. I’m taking that as a badge of honor,” she added.

Baldur’s Gate 3 has gained immense popularity partly due to its wide array of interactions, including the ability to get cozy with a sex demon. Players can also engage with a druid in bear form, which stirred up quite a buzz even before the game launched.

Wilson streams her Dark Urge run every Wednesday at 10 a.m. EDT, so you’ll have to wait until next week to see if she makes a return to YouTube and TikTok.

You all really have it out for tieflings, huh?
