Batman: Arkham Parody Hilariously Highlights the Dark Absurdity of Gotham Life

I’m really into this new YouTube video that uses mods to dive into the life of an NPC citizen in Gotham City from Batman: Arkham Knight. It’s a fascinating look at what it might be like to share a city with a superhero.

Living in Gotham, the sprawling metropolis where Batman operates, must be a wild ride. A simple trip to the corner store could turn into a front-row seat for one of Batman’s epic battles with criminals. You might even catch him zooming past your window in the dead of night. Or, you know, he could accidentally run you over with his Batmobile-tank—totally nonlethal, right? That’s the kind of chaos you get in Gaming with Griff Griffin’s short but engaging Batman: Arkham Knight video.

What I love most about Griff’s video is how it captures the perspective of an everyday Gotham resident who just happens to spot Batman. With a city as vast as Gotham, not everyone gets to see the Dark Knight in action, so for those who do, it’s probably a thrilling experience. Or maybe it’s terrifying? Likely a mix of both!
