Big Price Drop for Silent Hill F and Silent Hill 2 Remake on PlayStation Store
Konami’s remake of Silent Hill 2 has just hit a significant sales milestone, surpassing 5 million copies sold across PlayStation, Xbox, and PC platforms. To celebrate this achievement, the company is slashing prices on the Deluxe Editions of both the remake and last year’s highly praised Silent Hill f.
As part of Konami’s Spring Sale, players can snag discounts of up to 50% on the latest entries in the series, available exclusively on the PlayStation Store. These deals will be live on the U.S. storefront until 2:59 a.m. EST on March 26.
It’s worth noting that the stand-alone Standard Edition of each game isn’t part of this sale. The Deluxe Editions come packed with digital art books, soundtracks, and costumes. However, if you’re not interested in those extras and want to dive into both Silent Hill f and Silent Hill 2, the Standard Edition Dual Pack offers great value at just under $30 each.
In 2022, Konami unveiled five Silent Hill projects, including Silent Hill 2 and Silent Hill f. The last of these original five titles, Silent Hill: Townfall, is set to launch for PlayStation 5 and Windows PC later this year. In December, series producer Motoi Okamoto shared with a gaming publication that the team aims to establish the series as an annual franchise starting in 2026.
“We plan to release about one title per year, covering both announced and unannounced projects,” Okamoto stated. “While we can’t guarantee how far we can go with this, we’re committed to doing our best as the producers of the Silent Hill series. Our goal is to keep the excitement around Silent Hill alive.”
With Silent Hill 2 now exceeding the 5 million sales mark, it looks like Konami is off to a promising start.
