Bobby Kotick Reportedly Had Multiple Email Exchanges with Jeffrey Epstein

In 2015, an article surfaced revealing the contents of Jeffrey Epstein’s alleged address book, which included contact details for numerous high-profile individuals, including Bobby Kotick, the then-CEO of Activision Blizzard, known for iconic franchises like Call of Duty and World of Warcraft. Recently released documents from the Justice Department have unveiled a series of emails exchanged between Epstein and Kotick.

Emails from November 2012 indicate Epstein’s attempts to arrange a dinner with Kotick during his visit to New York. Epstein suggested that Kotick come a day early to meet actor Woody Allen, but Kotick replied that he couldn’t make it. Epstein’s schedule for that month noted a dinner with Kotick on November 18, 2012. The following day, Epstein mentioned to a colleague that Kotick had visited him and described him positively.

On November 21, 2012, Epstein sent Kotick details about his private Caribbean island, Little St. James. In a follow-up on December 9, Epstein inquired about Kotick’s trip to the Caribbean, to which Kotick responded that he wished he could have visited the island.

The correspondence continued into 2013, with an email from February 24 revealing Epstein’s plans to visit SpaceX in LA and his desire to meet Kotick. Epstein expressed a preference to see Kotick rather than attend another event, mentioning he was taking guests to Bel Air. Kotick invited Epstein and his friends to his home in Beverly Hills, just a short drive from Bel Air.

Later in April 2013, Epstein reached out again to set up a meeting, mentioning he would bring a few guests and inquired if Kotick knew filmmaker Brian Grazer. Kotick confirmed he did, and later that day, he suggested a meeting at 6 PM, noting he was running late.

The two continued to exchange emails, with Epstein complimenting Kotick’s home and art, and Kotick responding positively. Their communication persisted, with Epstein mentioning a missed connection with a Russian guest and Kotick expressing his intention to see them on the next trip.

All these emails were sent after Epstein’s 2008 felony conviction in Florida for soliciting a minor for prostitution, which resulted in a 13-month jail sentence and his registration as a sex offender. Notably, his Xbox Live account was banned in December 2013.

Kotick also reportedly communicated with Ghislaine Maxwell, an associate of Epstein. In an email from April 2004, Maxwell expressed disappointment over Kotick’s lack of communication, to which he allegedly replied with a playful invitation.

Maxwell was sentenced to 20 years in prison in 2022 for her involvement in the exploitation and abuse of minors alongside Epstein.

Kotick departed from Activision Blizzard in December 2023 following the company’s acquisition by Microsoft for $70 billion. This merger concluded a lengthy regulatory review amid ongoing sexual misconduct lawsuits against Activision Blizzard, which were settled without any admission of wrongdoing.

A statement included in one of the court-approved settlements emphasized that no independent investigation substantiated claims of systemic harassment or misconduct within Activision Blizzard, nor did it find that Kotick or other senior executives acted improperly regarding workplace issues.
