While many Super Bowl trailers were anticipated, this one took us by surprise: a first full look at Brad Pitt’s return as Cliff Booth in David Fincher’s The Adventures of Cliff Booth.

The TV spot, which you can check out below, does not disappoint. It showcases Booth, post Once Upon a Time… in Hollywood, stepping back into the role of a studio fixer.

A fixer, of course, encounters problems. And The Adventures of Cliff Booth trailer certainly presents plenty of challenges for the former stunt double. Expect shady characters, questionable cinemas, and, in true Tarantino style, a barrage of f-bombs. With a global audience exceeding 100 million, it’s no wonder some were censored.

Throughout it all, Booth’s signature charm shines through. Whether that smile remains as he navigates Hollywood’s heavyweights is yet to be seen.

The first trailer for David Fincher’s ‘THE ADVENTURES OF CLIFF BOOTH’ has been released. Coming soon to Netflix.

Despite Tarantino not directing Cliff Booth’s return, he has expressed nothing but admiration for David Fincher.

Speaking last year on a podcast, the Pulp Fiction director stated, “I think me and David Fincher are the two best directors. So the idea that David Fincher actually wants to adapt my work shows a level of seriousness towards my work that I think needs to be acknowledged.”

Tarantino is still contemplating his 10th and final film. He has also been reflecting on ideas inspired by Kill Bill’s Fortnite animated short, Yuki’s Revenge.

“I could see a world between [Unreal Engine] and Japanese anime where I could find a happy medium. Or, you know, between the things that I couldn’t physically do, like, say, the Vega Brothers movie, or something like that,” Tarantino mentioned during a Q&A at the premiere of Yuki’s Revenge in LA.
