Brendan Fraser Makes a Splash in The Legend of Zelda’s Latest Adventure

After taking a break from the Hollywood scene, Brendan Fraser, known for his roles in The Mummy and The Whale, is making a significant return. While he has several new film projects on the horizon, his current challenge lies in navigating the fierce Lynel mini-bosses in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. In a recent interview, Fraser shared that he’s “still stuck” in the acclaimed 2017 Zelda title. “I want to know how to get better weapons without getting my ass kicked by all the Lynels,” he mentioned, expressing his frustration over the scarcity of bomb-flowers in the game. When the interviewer suggested he check out online guides, Fraser insisted he preferred to conquer the game the traditional way, without any walkthroughs.

Fraser’s upcoming film, Pressure, will see him take on the role of Supreme Allied Commander Dwight D. Eisenhower, a pivotal figure in World War II and the 34th President of the United States. He also revealed last year that he would be reprising his iconic role as Rick O’Connell in a fourth Mummy film. While fans eagerly await news on the next major Legend of Zelda installment, now is the perfect time to dive into Breath of the Wild and its sequel, Tears of the Kingdom, especially since both received impressive enhancements for the Switch 2 last year. Additionally, a live-action Legend of Zelda movie is in the works, featuring Bo Bragason as Zelda and Benjamin Evan Ainsworth as Link. This Sony Pictures film will be available exclusively on Netflix after its theatrical release, thanks to a new partnership with the streaming service.
