Brennan Lee Mulligan and Matt Mercer are back in action for the Tournament of Champions in the latest Um, Actually trailer.

Dropout’s quirky quiz show, Um, Actually, is gearing up for its 11th season this month, bringing back plenty of beloved contestants. This season marks the return of the Tournament of Champions for the first time since its inaugural season.

Fan favorites like Brennan Lee Mulligan, Matt Mercer from Critical Role, and Erika Ishii from Ghost of Yōtei will face off in the Tournament of Champions, where past Um, Actually winners will compete against each other. Season 11 will also feature contestants such as Jordan Myrick, Angela Giarratana, Zac Oyama, Jarvis Johnson, Ally Beardsley, and Oscar Montoya. Additionally, Dimension 20’s adventurous duo, Emily Axford and Brian Murphy, will join forces in a special tag team episode, with three pairs battling it out.

Iwy Nwadiwe returns as host for his third season, with Brian David Gilbert serving as the fact checker for this nerdy quiz show. Unlike traditional trivia formats, Um, Actually challenges contestants with statements about popular video games, books, movies, and other aspects of pop culture, each containing a deliberate error. Contestants must buzz in to correct the statement, starting their response with “um, actually,” or they won’t score any points. You can even try your hand at a home version with the Um, Actually… Board Game.

Season 11 of Um, Actually kicks off on Tuesday, January 20, with new episodes streaming on Dropout.tv every other week.
