Call of Duty Teams Up with Fallout TV Show for Season 1 Reloaded
Season 1 of Black Ops 7 and Warzone is in full swing, and there’s exciting news on the horizon: a crossover with Amazon Prime Video’s Fallout TV series is set for the midseason update. A teaser clip has been released, giving us a sneak peek at the operator skins tied to this collaboration. While the details remain under wraps, the silhouettes suggest operators inspired by Lucy, The Ghoul, and Maximus in his iconic power armor.
Typically, these big collaborations come with special events for players to dive into, though it’s still unclear whether the skins will be part of an event pass or available as shop bundles. Call of Duty’s event passes usually run for 1,100 CoD Points ($10), while operator packs are typically priced at 2,800 CoD Points ($25) each. This crossover aligns perfectly with the launch of the second season of the Fallout TV show, which premiered on December 16.
This marks the first significant collaboration for Black Ops 7, especially after the cancellation of the Carry Forward program, which would have allowed skins from Black Ops 6, like Beavis and Butt-Head, to make an appearance. Activision has previously stated that they aim for Call of Duty to be “immersive, intense, visceral, and grounded,” but they haven’t confirmed future plans for operator skins beyond the initial launch window of Black Ops 7.
The midseason update for Season 1 is expected to drop sometime after the holidays, bringing not just the Fallout operator skins but also new maps, modes, and challenges. Currently, Black Ops 7 is offering a free trial across all platforms, allowing players to explore over 20 maps and experience the Ashes of the Damned map for Zombies until December 22. Additionally, Fallout 76 is available for free play for a limited time on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S.
