Catch the Latest Updates on Resident Evil Requiem at Capcom’s New Showcase
Capcom is set to unveil fresh insights about Resident Evil Requiem, the latest installment in the iconic survival horror series that has captivated players for nearly three decades, during an upcoming Resident Evil Showcase this Thursday. Fans can expect to see new gameplay footage and other exciting details about Requiem.
The showcase will be live-streamed on Capcom’s YouTube and Twitch channels on January 15 at 2 p.m. PST/5 p.m. EST/10 p.m. GMT.
Resident Evil Requiem marks the ninth main entry in the franchise, featuring Grace Ashcroft and Leon S. Kennedy as the playable protagonists. Each character promises a unique gameplay experience: Leon is all about high-octane, adrenaline-pumping action, while Grace embodies the essence of survival horror, navigating through chilling encounters. With much of Leon’s gameplay already showcased, fans are eager for a deeper dive into his action-packed style.
There’s still a lot to look forward to before Resident Evil Requiem launches in February. In December, Capcom teased more information about the Grace Ashcroft amiibo for the Nintendo Switch 2 version of the game, along with a glimpse of the upcoming collaboration with Fortnite. Additionally, if Capcom follows its traditional approach, we might finally see a demo for Resident Evil Requiem.
On top of that, there are several Nintendo Switch 2 ports to discuss: Resident Evil 7 biohazard Gold Edition and Resident Evil Village Gold Edition will also be available on Switch 2 on the same day as Resident Evil Requiem’s release.
Resident Evil Requiem is set to launch on February 27 for Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, Windows PC, and Xbox Series X.
