Chainsaw Man Movie Set to Stream Soon

Chainsaw Man—The Movie: Reze Arc is set to land on Crunchyroll this spring after a successful box office run and digital release last year. While Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle captured much of the spotlight in 2025 with its impressive box office numbers, Chainsaw Man—The Movie: Reze Arc emerged as a fan favorite for anime film of the year. It topped the charts on Letterboxd and features a viral video of its female lead, Reze, dancing to the theme song “Iris Out,” which has become one of the most-liked videos in X/Twitter history. Although it didn’t reach Infinity Castle’s massive earnings, it still raked in over $160 million globally.

Directed by Tatsuya Yoshihara and produced by MAPPA, this film continues the story from Chainsaw Man’s first season. The official synopsis describes a brutal war between devils and hunters, with Denji facing a new battle in his heart when he encounters the enigmatic Reze. As he confronts hidden foes and fights for his humanity, Denji prepares for his most dangerous challenge yet.

Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc also serves as a great entry point for those new to the franchise. Blending comedy, chaos, and action, the film is rich in emotion, largely thanks to its naive and love-starved protagonist. A second season is already in the works, with a trailer released late last year.

The English voice cast includes Ryan Colt Levy as Denji, Alexis Tipton as Reze, Suzie Yeung as Makima, Sarah Wiedenheft as Power, Reagan Murdock as Aki, Lindsay Seidel as Pochita, and Derick Snow as Beam. The Japanese voice cast features Kikunosuke Toya as Denji, Reina Ueda as Reze, Tomori Kusunoki as Makima, Fairouz Ai as Power, Shôgo Sakata as Aki, Shiori Izawa as Pochita, and Natsuki Hanae as Beam.

Chainsaw Man—The Movie: Reze Arc is coming to Crunchyroll in spring 2026.
