Chris Hemsworth isn’t the only star in the upcoming MCU film Avengers: Doomsday; his 13-year-old daughter, India Rose Hemsworth, will also make an appearance. However, it took some convincing to get her on set.

“She walks on set and asks, ‘How long is this gonna take?’ I told her, ‘We haven’t even started!'” Hemsworth shared in an interview. “After the first take, she was like, ‘Are we done?’ I had to tell her, ‘No, we’ve got another two or three days.’ She was like, ‘Oh god.’ Just typical teenage angst.”

To win her over, Hemsworth had to negotiate a bit. “In the end, I had to bribe her to come onto set,” he explained, revealing that he promised to buy her the motorbike she wanted. “A little negotiation, and off she went.” He later clarified that India wasn’t throwing a fit; she just wanted to make it to a concert she had tickets for.

This isn’t India’s first time in front of the camera, though. She previously played the daughter of Christian Bale’s character Gorr in the 2022 film Thor: Love and Thunder. After Gorr’s demise, Thor took Love under his wing, adopting her and calling her Love. India will reprise her role in the upcoming Avengers film.

The Hemsworths are joining a star-studded cast. Thanks to the extensive casting announcement for Avengers: Doomsday, we know that the new Fantastic Four, the Thunderbolts, Chris Evans’ Steve Rogers, the original X-Men characters, and more will be featured in the film, all facing off against Robert Downey Jr.’s Doctor Doom.

Avengers: Doomsday hits theaters on December 18. Stay tuned for updates on Marvel Phase 6 and all the upcoming Marvel movies and TV shows.
