Since its release in 2025, Civilization 7 has undergone several significant updates, including the major Test of Time update from May, which addressed many player concerns from launch. One of the most notable changes is the new progression system through the game’s three Ages, allowing players to maintain their original civilization throughout an entire campaign instead of switching at each Age transition. New features like Syncretism and Affirmation also provide players with greater control over their civilization’s development.
