Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 Launches Free DLC, Verso’s Drafts

The free update for *Clair Obscur: Expedition 33*, developed by Sandfall Interactive, is now live for PlayStation 5, Windows PC, and Xbox Series X. This new content, revealed by director Guillaume Broche during his acceptance speech for Game of the Year at The Game Awards 2025, is dubbed the “Thank You Update” after the game clinched eight awards.

“Rejoin the Expedition on another journey through the whimsical hideout of a young Verso,” the official description states. “In a land crafted through joy and innocence, sometimes darkness is uncovered when imagination gets carried away.”

Titled *Verso’s Drafts*, this DLC introduces fresh quests, new locations, and a host of additional content. As the name implies, it explores a series of draft pieces created by a younger Verso in a world that’s far more vibrant than the base game’s darker Continent. Expect colorful landscapes, enemies that attack with rainbows, a forest made of lollipops, and a sky that’s, well, a bit more normal.

In addition to the new environments, *Verso’s Drafts* brings in new enemies and bosses to challenge players, along with a detailed photo mode that can be accessed even during combat. This mode includes all the features you’d expect, such as aperture adjustments and filters, allowing you to showcase your stylish parries.
