Collector’s Edition Blu-Ray Set for Dragon Ball Daima Announced
The latest installment in the Dragon Ball universe, Dragon Ball: Daima, concluded earlier this year and is set to hit Blu-ray on March 3, 2026, coinciding with the franchise’s 40th anniversary. Fans can choose between two editions: a standard Blu-ray for $70 or a Collector’s Edition for $90, which includes additional bonuses. Preorders for both options are currently available.
Taking place between the Majin Buu and God of Destruction arcs, Dragon Ball: Daima follows Goku as he ventures into the Demon Realm. After being transformed back into his childhood self by the new Supreme Demon King Gomah, Goku embarks on a quest to regain his adult form. With his powers diminished, he retrieves his old Power Pole to help him in the upcoming battles. The series was well-received upon release, praised for its return to core themes, smooth animation, and resolution of long-standing plot points, delivering an exciting viewing experience. The 20-episode series tells a complete story, wrapping everything up neatly by the finale. This was the last project overseen by creator Akira Toriyama before his passing last year.
For those looking to expand their Dragon Ball collection, the Dragon Ball Super: The Complete Series Collector’s Edition is currently available at its lowest price ever—just $100, down from $200. This Blu-ray box set includes all 131 episodes, with each of the 10 discs housed in a steelbook case, all stored within a decorative metal display box. Additionally, Dragon Ball GT: The Complete Series is worth checking out, as it shares similar plot elements with Daima, including Goku reverting to his childhood form, encounters with demons, and an unexpected Super Saiyan transformation.
