Cricut Unveils Compact Device for Printing, Cutting, and Laminating Stickers

Cricut has unveiled its first crafting machines equipped with printing capabilities, designed as all-in-one solutions for transforming photos and images into precut stickers. The Cricut StickerPix Print plus Cut and Cricut StickerPix Print are among the smallest machines in the lineup, making them perfect for crafters with limited storage space.

Starting at $299, the Cricut StickerPix Print plus Cut is the larger and pricier option, also available in bundles that include additional supplies. It supports 4×7-inch sticker sheets and 4×6-inch photo paper, utilizing a dye-sublimation printing process that enhances color reproduction by using heat instead of ink. Unlike Cricut’s larger machines, these new models feature a built-in lamination process, ensuring prints are resistant to water, scratches, and fading over time.

The smaller Cricut StickerPix Print, starting at $169, is also offered in larger bundles. While it retains much of the functionality of its bigger counterpart, it lacks cutting capabilities. Instead, it prints directly onto precut sticker sheets in various shapes, including circles, rectangles, and squares, and can also print 4×6 photos.

The key distinction between the StickerPix Print plus Cut and Cricut’s larger machines is that it only cuts through the top layer of a print, creating kiss-cut stickers that remain attached to a larger sheet. In contrast, Cricut’s other machines can produce die-cut stickers that cut all the way through the backing paper.
