Daniel Kaluuya has a knack for keeping us on our toes, as seen in his roles in Black Mirror and his Oscar-nominated performance in Get Out. Reports suggest he’s eyeing a new project, Hotel Hotel Hotel Hotel, directed by Michael Shanks, known for Together.

This sci-fi thriller, penned by Shanks, follows a man who wakes up in an unusual hotel room and soon realizes he must escape his own confinement, with only himself to rely on. It evokes comparisons to Stephen King’s 1408 and Buried, and we’re intrigued by the talent involved.

If Kaluuya joins the project, it could showcase his skills in a solo performance, especially under the direction of Shanks, who previously delivered a darkly comedic body horror. It’ll be fascinating to see how he pushes Kaluuya’s limits if he takes on this role.

This potential project adds to Kaluuya’s already busy schedule. Alongside Hotel Hotel Hotel Hotel, he’s also working on Misty Green, a drama directed by Chris Rock featuring Anna Kendrick and Adam Driver. Additionally, he’s involved in a standalone Spider-Punk movie and a long-awaited adult-themed revival of Barney the purple dinosaur.

If you’re looking for some thrills sooner, keep an eye on the upcoming horror titles that are sure to give you a scare or two.
