Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 Brings Back Matt Murdock, Jessica Jones, Bullseye, and Foggy Nelson

The first trailer for Daredevil: Born Again season 2 has dropped, showcasing Daredevil and his allies taking on Wilson Fisk’s Anti-Vigilante Task Force (AVTF), which aims to clamp down on superheroes operating outside the law in New York City.

This law is clearly influenced by Fisk’s ongoing feud with Daredevil and draws directly from the comics, paralleling Fisk’s ascent to power as the mayor of NYC. In the comics, Fisk even creates his own version of the Thunderbolts to track down heroes on the streets.

Daredevil: Born Again breathes new life into the beloved Netflix series, now part of the MCU. The trailer confirms the return of Krysten Ritter as Jessica Jones, which fans expected. However, it’s still uncertain if Mike Colter’s Luke Cage or Finn Jones’ Danny Rand will make an appearance.

I think Danny Rand might be a bit of a stretch, but Mike Colter seems like a sure bet. His portrayal of Luke Cage was a standout in Netflix’s Marvel lineup, and his comic book connection with Jessica Jones was never fully explored in earlier narratives.

Also returning is Elden Henson’s Foggy Nelson, who appeared to be killed off at the beginning of season 1, though hints suggested his death might have been staged. Foggy is confirmed for season 2, so it could be a flashback or he might have returned from hiding.

The first season of Daredevil: Born Again received strong praise from both critics and fans, delving into the intricate dynamics between Matt Murdock and Wilson Fisk, while Murdock grapples with his dual identity as Daredevil and its impact on those around him.

Season 2 is set to premiere on March 24 on Disney+. Stay tuned for all the latest updates on upcoming Marvel movies and shows.
