Dbrand’s Killswitch Grip Case Bundle for Switch 2 Now on Sale at Best Buy
The top grip we’ve tested for the Nintendo Switch 2 is currently available at a great price as a last-minute holiday offer. The Killswitch Grip Case Travel Bundle from Dbrand is now $72, down from $80. While it’s on the pricier side compared to many other Switch 2 grips on the market, the Killswitch stands out with its excellent ergonomics, a smart dock adapter that integrates flawlessly, and a three-piece design that allows for mouse mode and single Joy-Con 2 motion controls. Plus, the Travel Bundle eliminates the need for a standard carrying case, featuring a detachable hardshell cover with slots for game cards.
For a while, Dbrand accessories were exclusively sold through their website, but now they’ve partnered with a major retailer. Additionally, there’s the new ROG Xbox Ally Killswitch Grip Travel Bundle, also priced at $72 (originally $80), perfect for those considering the last-minute holiday deal on the Xbox Ally handheld PC.
If the Killswitch isn’t your only choice, there are plenty of ergonomic grip cases for the Switch 2. The Supcase Unicorn Beetle Pro is currently the most popular grip on Amazon, boasting “military-grade standards” with rubberized, textured grips and a sleek back plate. While it’s dockable, it does block the console’s kickstand. You can grab the Unicorn Beetle Pro for $29-$31 (down from $36), depending on the color. Another solid option is the Mumba Blade Grip Case, available in a variety of colors and currently on sale for $20 (originally $29).
I’ve also enjoyed using the Satisfye ZenGrip 2 and Genki Attack Vector. If you’re familiar with Satisfye grips, the ZenGrip 2 adds traditional handles to the Switch 2 and is dockable, priced at $49 or $70 with a custom hardshell carrying case. Genki’s Attack Vector is a modular grip case that comes with three sets of grips in different styles. It’s dockable and includes a detachable travel cover, with a current deal bringing the price down to $42 (originally $60).
Skull & Co.’s Savage Raven NeoGrip for Switch 2 features three different pairs of ergonomic grips in black or red/blue. The NeoGrip is available for $30 alone or $50 with a hardshell travel case.
CRKD has announced they are developing the Nitro Deck 2 handheld controller for the Switch 2, which will replace the Joy-Con 2 to enhance controls, customization, and ergonomics. Priced at $100, it’s set to release in Spring 2026. If you’re looking to replace your Joy-Con 2 controllers now, the GameSir G8 Plus ($80) and GameSir X5s ($50) are solid mobile controller cradles compatible with the Nintendo Switch 2.
Aside from the Nitro Deck 2, the only handheld controller specifically designed for the Switch 2 is the Gammeefy Controller, currently priced at $47.49 (down from $54). While we haven’t tested it yet, it features Hall Effect sticks, RGB lighting, four extra remappable buttons, and various customizable options. The original version for the Switch received positive feedback from Amazon customers, and the Switch 2 edition looks promising and is available now.
