Directors of Avengers: Doomsday Appear to Spill Secrets in Deleted Video on Fan Theories

Joe and Anthony Russo’s production company AGBO recently introduced an “evolving space” for fans to share their wildest theories about Avengers: Doomsday, only to pull it down shortly after. Definitely not suspicious, right?

This so-called “evolving space,” known as the Avengers: Doomsday Theory Board, appeared on AGBO’s website over the weekend of January 31-February 1. It invited fans with the message, “Your Avengers: Doomsday theories belong here. The clues are out there. The stories are stacking up. And everyone is connecting dots at wildly different speeds.”

Accompanying this was a video featuring what seemed to be AGBO staff jotting down their own Doomsday theories on a whiteboard.

Both the webpage and an Instagram Reel showcasing the video have since vanished, but the footage has been preserved, revealing some eyebrow-raising theories that might explain why the Doomsday discussion was so swiftly erased from the internet.

In the video, several theories were presented: Steve Rogers having a child outside his timeline could be causing incursions; Steve’s time meddling is angering Doctor Doom; Steve’s offspring might grow up to be a villain; the Fantastic Four could be seeking Steve’s help to navigate to Earth-616’s present; and a theory suggesting Doctor Doom is actually Tony Stark. There was even a humorous entry claiming Steve’s child is Doctor Doom and transforms into Robert Downey Jr. That one can probably be dismissed.

While we’re not claiming any of these theories are accurate, the timing of the removal is certainly intriguing. Did AGBO receive a nudge from the Russos or Kevin Feige? It’s a possibility, hinting that someone might have stumbled upon a truth that Marvel Studios wasn’t ready to reveal.

Previously, the Russos had fueled speculation by hinting that the teasers for Avengers: Doomsday shown during Avatar: Fire and Ash screenings were “stories” and “clues.”

Avengers: Doomsday is set to hit theaters on December 18, 2026, coinciding with the release of Dune 3, which Robert Downey Jr. has humorously dubbed ‘Dunesday.’

For more updates, keep an eye on the confirmed cast revealed during last year’s Avengers: Doomsday livestream, and stay tuned for all the latest on upcoming Marvel movies and Marvel Phase 6.
